- The Kenilworth
Road pitch measures 110yd x 72yd.
- When Joe Payne
scored a record ten goals in the historical match against Bristol Rovers on

either team.

10-goal achievement against Bristol Rovers watched by a crowd of 13,962, the
attendance increased to 23,142 for the next home game v Coventry City when Payne
scored again in a 1-1 draw.
- Luton's first game
at Kenilworth Road in 1905 was known as the "Green Game", because they
played Plymouth Argyle who wore green, the referee was a Mr. Green and the game
was started by a local brewer called Green.
- The club was
formed by an amalgamation of two leading local clubs - Wanderers and Excelsior.
- TV presenter Nick
Owen has a bar named after him in the main stand at Kenilworth Road.
- The Hatters
previous grounds were: 1885, Excelsior, Dallow Lane; 1897, Dunstable Road.
