THE BEST
|
Official Site |
 |
|
The
Official Luton Town Football Club Website is full of exactly what you
would expect from an Official Website - all of the latest news, player
interviews, interviews with manager Mike
Newell, comprehensive match
reports (with photos of the action!) and statistics. There is also
a service called 'Hatters World' which grants you, for a subscription
fee, access to daily videos from Kenilworth Road. These videos
include player and staff interviews, as well as all of the goal action
from the seasons matches. All of these goals can be searched so
you can find that exact piece of action that you're looking for!
You can also purchase club merchandise via
the Club Shop.
As
with the rest of the Nationwide League clubs Websites, the site is
produced by Premium TV, so the layout is identical to any other
Nationwide League Club Website you'll visit, bar of course the odd image
here and there.
There is plenty of information on board here, but if
its rumours and inside information you're after, then this isn't the
place to be - I'm afraid you'll need to visit an Unofficial Website.
Lutonfc.com is, of course, the best Unofficial Luton Town Website on the
Internet, so you've already found your ideal Unofficial site if that's
what you're after! |

many years and he takes superb photographs of the Hatters in action that
are used on the Club's Official

various other literatures. Gareth
also takes professional photographs of people, places and things,
including cars.
After leaving school Gareth became an Apprentice

Trust In Luton |
 |
|
During the summer of 2003, Luton Town Football Club
were taken over by a man called John
Gurney and during his two months in control of the club, the
Hatters went from one major crisis to another. It was all
calling for drastic action from the fans – and some Hatters supporters who
used our very own Lutonfc.com
Message Board decided to set up a new Luton Town Supporters’ Trust –
Trust In Luton. They staged a
public meeting at which some 1,500+ Luton fans attended at the club’s
Kenilworth Road ground - and then managed to rid the club of Mr.
Gurney. This is their Website. |
 |
| Hatters News is a great Website that collects all
of the news articles relating to Luton Town from all over the Internet
and displays them on just one page, thus saving Hatters fans valuable
time having to browse the Internet to find the latest news!
The site claims to be, "A portal to
everything Luton Town FC on the web" and we cannot argue with
them - it certainly is! It is updated every single day without
fail and includes stores from pretty much every Luton Town site on the
Internet!
A superb effort and definitely a Website to
check out (as well as us!) if you want to get the latest Luton Town
news. Go take a visit, you won't be disappointed!

WHOSH |
 |
|
The
WHOSH (Worldwide Hatters On The Super Highway) Website is a nice
Unofficial Luton Town Website. The site includes downloads of
Hatters goals (although at the time of writing (13/01/03) these hadn't
been updated since the 2000-01 season). You can also learn more
about what WHOSH stand for and how they work. You can also
subscribe to join WHOSH through this Website.
WHOSH
are a big name among Luton Town supporters, and they also have their
own football team (for more see below). In fact, WHOSH used to
sponsor a couple of Luton Town players in the pre-Mike
Newell days
(Messer's Liam George (now of York
City) and Andre Scarlett (now of Chesham
United)), two home grown players of whom much was hoped, but so little
was delivered.
So go and visit the WHOSH Website and check out for
yourself the World Wide Hatters On The Super Highway! |

Hatternet |
|

|
|
Hatternet.com
is, behind your very own Lutonfc.com, the second most visited Luton
Town Website on the Internet. Frequently updated with all of the
latest news, Hatternet.com is a good resource for a Luton Town fan to
gain all of the latest news.
Run
by a dedicated Hatters supporter, Hatternet also includes player
profiles (although most of the players don't have a profile as this
was written (13/01/03)), photo galleries, columnists, statistics and a
prediction league - an idea that I like!
Hatternet.com is a well run Website.
However, the main problem for me with this Website is that Rivals.Net,
a corporate Sports Network run by Rupert Murdoch, hosts it. All
of the sites hosted on this network therefore have the same design
(which is very bland in my opinion) and the Website owner is paid to
produce and maintain the site.
It
does, in my opinion, therefore rank some way below Lutonfc.com, which
is run totally independently of any networks, and the fans who update
it receive absolutely no money for maintaining it - as fans they
simply provide you, as a fan yourself, with all of the latest
happenings from Kenilworth Road WITHOUT making any money out of it.
However, Hatternet is, for all of its faults, a well
run Website with good content. |

AWK'S HATTERS
HOMEPAGE |
|

|
|
AWK'S Hatters Homepage was, at the time of writing
this (13/01/03), not being updated any longer. It hadn't been
updated since the Hatters' excellent 2-1 win at local rivals Watford
in the League Cup on September 10th 2002.
We have included it on the
links page here, however, as we thought you mind like to take a visit
to a small Website that was regularly updated by a dedicated Hatters
supporter during his free time. Although no longer updated, we
still salute you, AWK, well done and let's hope AWK'S Hatters Homepage
makes a return sometime in the future! |
|
WE BEAT THE SCUM
2-1 |
 |
|
This
Website is dedicated totally to Luton's 2-1 victory at local rivals
Watford in the League Cup on September 10th 2002 at Vicarage
Road.
A small Website, it includes links to quotes from the managers, match
reports of the game, a wallpaper (which was made by us here at
Lutonfc.com!) and photos.
This Website acts as a tribute to that great night when
Matthew Spring and Steve Howard struck first-half goals to send the
Hornets out of the cup and see Bedfordshire rein supreme! |
|
WHOSH FC |
 |
|
This
Website gives you all of the information you could possibly need to
know about WHOSH FC - The football team created from the WHOSH
(Worldwide Hatters On The Super Highway) group.
It's full of news, results and fixtures, as well as
player profiles and a message board, so give the site a visit and
support the team! Well done, lads! |
