HATTERS WINGER FORBES IN SWANSEA TALKS

Luton Town's out-of-contract winger-cum-striker Adrian Forbes is in talks over a possible Bosman free transfer to Third Division Swansea City.

Luton boss Mike Newell has offered the former Norwich City player, who netted 14 goals in all competitions for the Hatters last season, a new two-year deal, but he looks set to snub that offer and move to Wales.

Forbes is a big favourite of Swans manager Kenny Jackett, and Forbes is surprisingly looking likely to make the drop to the Third Division, where he will link up with the highly-rated Lee Trundle.

Should the Hatters winger leave Kenilworth Road, Newell will be forced to find a replacement for the popular former England youth international.
