TRUST ISSUE STATEMENT REGARDING TAKEOVER

Trust in Luton today welcomed the statement from Bill Tomlins, in which he publicly said that matters are still on course to remove Luton Town FC from administrative receivership in the very near future.

A Trust spokesman said: "This is excellent news. Trust representatives have been kept up-to-date with the issues surrounding the planned takeover, but as our members know our hands are tied with legal confidentiality agreements with regard to what information we can release. Rather than keep issuing holding statements, we have held fire, with occasional updates on our website, www.trustinluton.com. Obviously the lack of forthcoming news is
frustrating for Trust members, but I know they know everyone involved with TiL has the best interests of the club at heart, and I would like to thank them again for their unending patience.

"As soon as the takeover has been completed, a full press release will be issued, and then the next TiL newsletter will be sent out, along with details of the committee election process."
